This page explains what personal data we collect when you use wedohype.com, why we collect it, who else sees it and what you can do about it. We collect what we need to answer you and to run the site, and nothing else.
Who is responsible for your data
The controller is WEDOHYPE Ι.Κ.Ε., Aiolou 39, 16673 Voula, Athens, Greece (VAT no. 801272134, GEMI no. 153211201000). For anything in this policy, write to [email protected].
What we collect and why
When you send us a message. The contact form collects your name, email, phone number, website, what you sell, your budget range and any message you write, plus the page you sent it from. We use it to reply, to scope the project you ask about and to follow up. Legal basis: steps you ask us to take before a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.
When you subscribe to the newsletter. We collect your email address and the country your connection comes from, so we can send Greek and international readers the right issue. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw with the unsubscribe link in every email.
When you browse the site. If you accept cookies, Google Tag Manager and the Meta pixel record the pages you view, roughly where you are, your device and browser, and how you arrived. We use this to understand which pages work and to measure our own ads. If you reject cookies, none of these load. Legal basis: your consent.
Our hosting keeps ordinary technical logs (IP address, time, requested page) so we can keep the site secure and running. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure site.
Who else receives it
A small set of providers handles data for us, on our instructions:
- Google (Workspace for email and files, Sheets for our enquiry list, and Tag Manager if you accept cookies)
- n8n, running on our own server (moves each enquiry between the tools below)
- Slack, Airtable and Notion (internal notification and our CRM)
- Our WordPress site with FunnelKit (newsletter and follow-up emails)
- Cloudflare (DNS, security, and the Turnstile check that stops spam bots on our forms)
- Vercel (hosts this site, in a Frankfurt data centre)
- Meta (only if you accept cookies, for the advertising pixel)
We do not sell personal data and we do not pass it to anyone else unless the law requires it.
Content loaded from other companies
To display the site your browser also fetches fonts from Google Fonts, some scripts from public code networks (unpkg and esm.sh), videos from Bunny CDN and, in the footer, the Clutch review badge. Those companies see your IP address when they serve the file, and Clutch may set its own cookies. Each has its own privacy policy.
Transfers outside the EU
Google, Meta, Slack, Airtable and Notion may process data in the United States. Where they do, the transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a client. Client records follow our legal and accounting retention duties.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Analytics: for the retention period set in our Google account.
- Server logs: a few weeks.
Cookies
Cookies from Google and Meta load only after you accept, and the banner lets you reject them just as easily. The full list is on the cookies page, and the “Cookie settings” link in the footer reopens your choice at any time.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, and receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent you can withdraw it whenever you like, and that does not affect what we did before. Email [email protected] and we will answer within one month.
If you think we handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr) or to the authority in your own country.
Children
The site is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes
When we change how we handle data we update this page and the date at the top.
